To me, it is important for the graduate to have good communication skills so that they succeed in their career. Having good communication skills allow them to build good relationships with their colleagues and enable them to work with different kinds of people. This can lead to better synergy between colleagues and allow them to perform their job more efficiently. Thus bring benefits to the company.

Critical Reflection

At the beginning of this effective communication module, I wrote myself two goals in the introduction letter. The first goal was to be more confident in my presentation skill. The second goal was to improve my writing skill. Thirteen weeks have passed and I feel that have achieved what I was aiming for. This module has taught me various skills and techniques to improve both my presentation skills as well as writing skills. This module also helps me develop my critical thinking skills as well as my communicating skills. Throughout the module, we were given many opportunities to apply and practice what we learned. One such example is this activity where we were given limited time to research a certain topic and present our findings in front of the class.
